Claudy Vouhé shared GRB in local authorities (French)

Gender-Responsive Budgeting (GRB) shows that the development of a budget and budgetary choices are powerful levers in terms of gender equality. We share our lessons learned in the field: a 5-step method, concrete examples (culture, sport, subsidies, public procurement, etc.) and keys to success. An operational work to objectify the impact of public policies and budgets and make RHL accessible.

Anuradha Kapoor Shared Swayam Recent Published Study

This exploratory study foregrounds the largely invisible issue of natal family violence (NFV) in India, exploring its forms, prevalence, and deep, long-term impacts on women's lives. It challenges the myth of the natal home as a safe space and centres survivor voices and lived experiences. The findings expose systemic silences and institutional barriers to justice. It offers vital insights for policy reform, feminist praxis, and deeper societal reflection.

Tara Prasad Gnyawali - Narrative

My flashback to working with wildlife-affected communities living in a biological transboundary corridor in Bardiya, Nepal, where I spent my golden 15 years. This story reflects changes that demonstrate how a community's tolerance extends to coexistence, and that is only due to the well-integrated planning of Ecotourism opportunities for the community.

human rights of rural women and sustainable development

Sustainable development and human rights both need equal opportunities in the policies. Sometimes human rights of rural women and children do not get space in programmes of sustainable development. For example in the tiger reserve forest areas, incidences of malnourishment among the women and children are more in comparison to urban area. Similarly, access to education, health facilities and transport facilities are poor. Women are working hard for cutting the fire wood and carry it on head…

Not talking much on this international event let me concentrate more towards the learning and my future plan derived from this international gathering held in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Institute of Social Studies Trust's Call for Proposals on Evaluation Research in India

Engendering Policy through Evaluation, Institute of Social Studies Trust, New Delhi

Supported by IDRC and Ford Foundation

Call for proposals:

Feminist approaches to evaluation seek to unpack the nature of gender and social inequalities and further see evaluation as a political activity, itself part of a change process. There is relatively little literature on feminist evaluation, and our objective is to help build the field by supporting research on Design, Methods, Process,…

Reflections from the Evaluation Conclave 2013

In our daily work routines most of us tend to get so occupied with jumping from one task to another, meeting deadlines and producing deliverables, that we rarely get a chance to take a step back and think about what we’re doing and how we could do it better, and somewhere the purpose begins to get lost. Given this reality, the Evaluation Conclave provided not only a much needed opportunity to reflect on our evaluation experiences, but with all the informed and stimulating sessions, also a…

Reflections on Kathmandu Evaluation Conclave - 2013

It was really a nice moment for me when the participation in the Evaluation Conclave was confirmed and I have started to initiate thinking on how best I could learn from the Conclave as well as could contribute both personal and ‘Feminist evaluation’ experience.

For me, it was the first time to be part of this type of colossal Conclave, which would discuss, learn, think and plan only on Evaluation! The Conclave was designed in a way, so that maximum you can learn in a single Conclave,…

Gender a word which defines many thoughts regarding male & female. We define them more extensively on our ways.
